Spring recruiting for Cub Packs will occur late March through May. Each pack that participates in spring recruiting should be committed to achieving the National Summertime Pack Award. Recruiting materials will be available at April District Roundtable Meetings, and again in May.
In many packs there are younger brothers of Cubs that are anxious to become a Tiger Cub. Tiger Mania spring recruiting is emphasizing the recruitment of graduating Kindergartners into the Tiger Cub program, yet your pack is welcome to recruit older Cub-age youth. This also will allow packs to have a fresh new set of adult volunteers. The http://joincubscouting.org/ site will include information on packs holding recruiting events this spring. Don't forget we have Twilight Camp coming up in June which you can use in your recruiting information. Contact your district executive, unit commissioners or Paul Dodson for assistance in conducting successful spring recruitment.
