District Awards Banquet In addition to a great program, we will be presenting the Robert E. Little Service Award, a District Award for long service to Scouting. The District Award of Merit is a Council Award that will be presented to a select few District volunteers for their contribution to the youth in our District. This is also the time to recognize the contributions of many volunteers for their work with units by presenting the Y.E.S. (Your Extraordinary Service) Award as well as Unit Activity Ribbons. If you know of someone who should be nominated for recognition, please see the AWARDS page for information about how to submit nominations. The deadline for requesting these awards is December 18, 2011. Don't miss this opportunity to recognize deserving volunteers.Individual tickets or tables of 10 may be purchased online. You can use any major credit or debit card to make your purchase. If you wish to pay with a check, please contact our District Executive Chris Fox Chris.Fox@scouting.org to arrange for payment and delivery of tickets at the December or January District Committee Meeting. | Cost: | $25 per person, reserved table for 10 is $250. Tickets are $30 each after Tuesday January 24th, so purchase your tickets now. Tickets purchased at the door are $35 each. (Here is the message: Ticket sales at the event make it very difficult on everyone, so we want to STRONGLY discourage sales at the door. Please purchase your tickets online before the event. Save some money and help out the hard working volunteer dinner committee members.) Please don't come to the event without a ticket. This creates logistical problems. If you are buying tickets for a group, please make sure everyone has a physical ticket. As each ticket is presented, we will check off the tickets againt the roster. Without the ticket there is no way to know which ticket to check off. Want to pay by check?
