National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience

WHAT IS NAYLE?

National Advanced Youth Leadership Experience (NAYLE) is an exciting program where young men and women enhance their leadership skills. Six sessions will be held at Philmont Scout Ranch in 2012. Youth will expand upon the team building and ethical decision making skills learned in National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). NAYLE emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and selfless service using the core elements of NYLT to make these skills intuitive.

PHILMONT LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE

WHAT IS THE PHILMONT LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE?

Adults learn to internalize and practice their leadership skills in this action-packed backcountry conference. The conference hones the skills taught in Wood Badge for the 21st Century in an outdoor experiential learning environment. PLC underscores the values of Scouting, teamwork, and promotes the concepts of servant leadership. Open to Scouters in all programs.

  Wood Badge

Wood Badge, is the premier training program for all Scout leaders in the Boy Scouts of America. This includes all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity and Venturing Leaders, District and Council Committee members as well as Professional Scouters. Wood Badge is designed to train adult volunteers using the latest leadership skills and techniques. It is once in a life time training experience.

Circle Ten Council has adopted the national training program for all adult leaders. National Council of Boy Scouts of America has called the program a "training continuum," to emphasize how all the parts of leader training fit together

Scouts deserve trained leaders and trained leaders deserve the best program possible

Philmont Training Center

The Philmont Training Center (PTC) is the only national volunteer training center for the Boy  Scouts of America. Since 1950, PTC has provided a unique environment for training volunteer and professional leaders, and a fun family program for every member of the family. Each year, more than 6,000 Scouters and family members attend PTC.
